This website is dedicated to the advancement of technology and
education in the field of ICVFX (In-Camera VFX) or OSVP
(On-Set Virtual Production).
The field covers 3 key components of fundamental knowledge:
VAD and Asset/Environment Creation
Volume Control/Brain Bar and the operations of
LED/Volumes Directing, DP and best practices for creatives
ICVFX.org intends to cover working groups and best practices & knowledge
in the field. This site is maintained by the ETC Virtual Production Working group (VWG),
which is an invite only collection of key studios, industry experts and
corporate leaders in the field.
Furthering education ETC is helping define a consistent community curriculum. Partnering with public and state resources for upskill and apprenticeship working programs.
Multiple community efforts and publicly available resources exist. It's the Mission of this group to elucidate those additional resources and work in step with them.
